The visionary behind "18ACORNS, The BUJO and Productivity Guide for the Overwhelmed" has been assisting CEOs in various entrepreneurial endeavours for years. Providing solopreneurs with administrative help, marketing and design solutions, and support since graduating with a Degree in Business (Marketing) from the University of Saskatchewan, she realized that lack of resources, solutions, and constant overwhelm were common themes in her clients' lives.

Angie could sympathize. As a mostly-solo-parent and self-proclaimed CEO (Chief EVERYTHING Officer), she has experienced the exhaustion of being all the things to so many people. Her quest for constant improvement, both personally and professionally, while also being the default parent and homemaker, left her feeling more than a tad squirrelly.

Despite facing the challenges of entrepreneurship and solo parenthood, she didn't let anything hold her back. Ironically, after starting her business "SQRL Friday" a year prior, in her early 40s, she was diagnosed with ADHD. This revelation clarified the feelings of guilt and shame she had been experiencing around the inability to do everything and sometimes failing at doing anything. Rather than succumbing to these challenges, she embraced them as opportunities for growth.

Fueled by an unwavering quest for solutions and a supportive community, she navigated various paths to unravel the complexities of ADHD and triumph over overwhelm. In that quest, she noticed that this overwhelm and guilt may not be specifically an ADHD thing but the story of most women with families and jobs and the mental load that comes from managing everything—all the time.
